What begins as a seemingly ordinary shopping trip to the local Lidl descends into a haunting odyssey through a sinister parallel dimension for one young girl.

Working hand-in-hand with creative agency ÜBERGROUND and LIDL, we brought this ambitious Halloween campaign to life. Airing internationally across TV and digital platforms, the campaign’s mission was to craft a vivid brand experience through cinematic storytelling and a high-impact visual style.

Under the direction of Dominik Ströhle, the film developed a unique aesthetic—somewhere between a dark fairy tale and modern advertising. The shoot took place over two days at LIDL’s dedicated mock-up store in Bad Wimpfen, where a crew of 40+ professionals transformed the space. Thanks to Christina Mammes’ production design, we had the rare opportunity to work in a completely controlled environment, allowing for a seamless transition from a standard supermarket into a haunting parallel dimension.

At the center of it all is our lead actress from Ireland. Her authentic performance anchors the supernatural elements of the film, making the shift from reality to the "other side" feel deeply personal and immersive. The result is more than just a commercial; it is a cinematic piece that showcases LIDL in a surprising, emotional, and unforgettable new light.
