Temple Of Eternity
Inside a deserted factory hall, a young girl discovers an old seamstress. As she is taught the craft of sewing, she is gifted a breathtaking journey through time.
Our brand film "Temple of Eternity" for Bernina was shot in a historic factory hall near Schorndorf, Baden-Württemberg, over the course of two intensive shooting days. The location’s raw, industrial architecture provided an atmospherically dense backdrop that harmonized perfectly with the narrative. Natural light streaming through shattered windows and high ceilings enhanced the poetic nature of the direction, giving the imagery a timeless, cinematic quality.
Prior to production, a nationwide casting was conducted to find the ideal actors for these emotionally demanding roles, focusing on authenticity, expressive depth, and a natural chemistry between the two leads. To bridge the gap between eras, the client provided a vintage sewing machine, serving as a key visual link throughout the story.
A central element of the film is the bespoke musical score, which carries the emotional weight of the narrative and acoustically mirrors the characters' transformation. The composition utilizes organic sounds and subtle crescendos with a restrained yet intense instrumentation. For this outstanding musical achievement, the production was honored with multiple awards.
Ultimately, "Temple of Eternity" weaves together craft, history, and emotion into a cinematic narrative. It highlights the timeless significance of sewing as a creative and unifying act, poetically capturing the profound relationship between human, machine, and memory.
